Brookings Regional Humane Society Reaches Fundraising Goal, Resulting in Additional Support

Brookings Regional Humane Society (BRHS) recently reached its goal of raising $80,000 to establish an endowment fund with South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF). With that milestone achieved, SDCF provided the organization with an additional $20,000 under its Nonprofit Savings Account (NSA) Challenge Grants program.

Marshall County Healthcare Center Awarded $50,000

Marshall County Healthcare Center (MCHC) recently received $50,000 from South Dakota Community Foundation’s (SDCF) Beyond Idea Grant (BIG) to develop and test the viability of a mobile care clinic that would provide family practice care closer to home to underserved patients in rural Marshall County. Offered in partnership with the Bush Foundation, the BIG program supports community-based problem-solving efforts in South Dakota.

State Bar Foundation Receives Grant to Enhance Legal Services in Rural Areas

South Dakota Bar Foundation recently received $63,222.50 from South Dakota Community Foundation’s (SDCF) Beyond Idea Grant (BIG) program. Offered in partnership with the Bush Foundation, the BIG program supports community-based problem-solving efforts in South Dakota.
