Eligibility:
Graduate from a South Dakota High School
Cumulative GPA of 3.2
Attending any college, university, or technical college
March 15 deadline
This scholarship, available statewide, is open to all high school seniors in South Dakota who have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.2 over seven semesters of high school. For high school athletes, coaches are a part of daily life, but it is a rare privilege when that daily interaction grows into mutual respect and admiration. Coach Russ Morrell inspired that type of relationship with young people over the 40 years he taught and coached in the communities of Irene, Burke, Bon Homme, and Wagner.
