The WSACF is a donor supported organization dedicated to supporting and enriching the future of the Wessington Springs Community by providing financial support to community oriented organizations and projects.

All grants requests are considered by our volunteer board of directors. To submit a request for funding from the Wessington Springs Area Community Foundation, please complete the grant application below.

Wessington Springs Volunteer Fire Department – help with cost of a new fireworks firing system

Wessington Springs Senior/Community Center – purchase new chair cart and table cart; help with cost of a floor scrubber

W.S. Area Development Corporation – cost of purchasing a laptop

W.S. Summer Recreation Committee – improvements to the grounds of the baseball/softball diamond

7th Grade Social Studies Class Recycling Program

Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota, Disaster Response – to help with the costs of unmet needs after tornado

City of Wessington Springs – toward purchase of portable aqua step for the pool

1905 Opera House – toward stage lighting project

Weskota Manor Avera – toward automated external defibrillator for nursing home

Prairie Hill 4-H Club – toward adding a lean-to on the 4-H barn
