All About U Adoptions, Inc. is a South Dakota licensed child placing agency that has been supporting birth and adoptive families since if was founded in 2006. Homelessness affects over 50% of clients working with All About U to place their child for adoption.

The South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF) was pleased to provide a $8,500 Coronavirus Response Fund grant to All About U Adoptions, Inc. to install a security alarm and camera system to provide a higher level of safety for their clients residing in the Neveah House. This security system will help promote social distancing between clients and staff by providing virtual check-ins. The Neveah House is a residential property secured by the agency for emergency, transitional housing in Sioux Falls.

“It is imperative that we do all we can to protect pregnant mothers from exposure to Covid-19”, said Ginger Niemann, Senior Program Officer, SDCF. “We want to do all we can to prevent risk for this population.”

In response to the pandemic, SDCF’s Board of Directors established the Coronavirus Response Fund to directly support the needs of communities and nonprofits affected by COVID-19. This fund addresses immediate needs including access to food, shortage of volunteers, healthcare sector support and human services sector support. Donations are being accepted.
