Founded in 2021 Giving back to Hill City
The Hill City Area Community Foundation was founded in 2021 to provide financial support to charitable and nonprofit purposes in the local area at the recommendation of a local advisory council.
The board accepted an initial challenge to raise $200,000 in exchange for $50,000 from the South Dakota Community Foundation and a local couple.
