Founded in 2006 Giving Back to Eureka

The Eureka Area Community Foundation was created as a non-profit tax exempt organization association with the South Dakota Community Foundation to serve as a vehicle to create a community savings account to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of our community and to instill the pioneering spirit and perseverance of our founders so as to perpetuate the city of Eureka.

The Eureka Community Foundation was established in 2006 to support charitable and nonprofit purposes in the Eureka area. Since that time, our supporters have given about $40,000 to the foundation, and our board has distributed $30,000 to worthy organizations making our community a better place. Thank you for your support!
