South Dakota Nonprofit Capacity Building Program
Professional development for South Dakota nonprofit leaders.

Professional development for South Dakota nonprofit leaders Building Capacity in our State
The South Dakota Nonprofit Capacity Building Program was created through a partnership between the South Dakota Community Foundation (SDCF), The Fund Raising School at Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy (Fund Raising School), CFRE International, the Bush Foundation and The Numad Group in 2019.
The research-based program uses a cohort model to support South Dakota nonprofit employees, volunteers and board members to build their capacity in effective fundraising and other important nonprofit leadership skills.
Our Goal:
The South Dakota Nonprofit Capacity Building Program will result in significantly more professional-level fundraising in the state, support the development of philanthropic partnerships, and improved experiences for donors. Participating organizations will be more effective in raising funds to provide services. The cohort model will lead to better statewide collaboration and information sharing among South Dakota nonprofits.
